1. Acceptance of Terms
By using any product or service operated by Courtemanche Atelier LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Courtemanche Atelier LLC builds and operates web applications, open-source tools, and related services. Each product may have its own specific features and documentation, but all are governed by these terms.
Our applications may be available as:
- Managed hosting: We maintain the infrastructure and handle data per our Privacy Policy.
- Self-hosted: You operate the software on your own infrastructure under its respective open-source license.
3. Accounts & Authentication
Our services use third-party OAuth providers (such as Google, GitHub, Microsoft, and Apple) for sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We receive limited profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. User Data & Ownership
You own your data. All content you create within our applications belongs to you. We do not sell, mine, or monetize your data. On our managed instances, data is stored on our infrastructure. Self-hosted instances operate entirely on your own infrastructure with no access from us.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access to any account or system
- Disrupt or interfere with service operation
- Transmit malicious code or content
- Conduct unauthorized vulnerability testing
6. Open-Source Licenses
Some of our software is released under open-source licenses (such as AGPL-3.0). These terms govern your use of our hosted services. For conflicts between these terms and an applicable open-source license regarding the software itself, the open-source license prevails.
7. Service Availability
We provide our services on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees. If we discontinue a service, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification where applicable. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
